HOW TO MAKE „SANEPID BOOK” IN WROCŁAW

Samples for Salmonella and Shigella carriers are accepted from Monday to Wednesday from 8:00 to 11:00 at the Sample Acceptance Point of the Microbiology Department of the WSSE in Wrocław, ul. Skladowa 1/3.

The samples will be accepted for testing only after paying a fee of PLN 120.00 PLN to the account:
Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Wrocław, National Bank of Poland, WROCŁAW branch
68 1010 1674 0023 3622 3100 0000 in the transfer title, please provide the name and surname of the examined person.

Each time for the examination, samples should be provided in the form of a complete set – 3 stool swabs collected from one patient (test tubes with transport medium) for three consecutive days along with the order form and proof of payment.

Information for the patient.
In order to perform a carrier test, three stool samples should be collected for 3 consecutive days, one each day, using a set of test tubes with a transport medium.

Method of collecting a stool sample for testing:
1. Rremove the tube with the swab from one package,
2. Collect feces (pea size) at the end of the swab,
3. Put the swab into the test tube and make sure that the swab cap tightly seals the tube,
4. Sign the test tube: name and surname, date and time of sample collection,
5. Repeat steps 1-4 on each of the three consecutive days,
6. Test tubes keep in a cool place. DO NOT FREEZE

All samples must be delivered together with the proof of payment, at the latest within 72 hours from the collection of the first sample to the Sample Acceptance Point of the Microbiology Department of the WSSE in Wrocław (ul. Składowa 1/3)

The test result should be collected 5 days after delivery of the samples at the Sample Acceptance Point of the Microbiology Department of the WSSE in Wrocław, ul. Skladowa 1/3 from:
– Monday to Wednesday from 12: 00-14: 00
– until Thursday to Friday from 8: 00-14: 00
In the case of a positive result – serological typing of Salmonella, Shigella, it is possible to extend the waiting time for the full result to 2 weeks.
